Although it started its beginning in the early 1900’s, it only became a provincial park in 1959 and was named after the original owner’s daughter.  Known for its sandy beach and shallow waters, this community in the eastern beaches area is located approximately one hour north of Winnipeg’s city centre on Highway 59.
